Are you supposed to tip at hand and stone massage?
The standard hospitality rate for massage tipping is 20 percent. For example, if a massage or body treatment costs $100, a 20 percent tip would be $20.

The massage therapist should not touch your breasts or groin area without you giving them explicit permission to do so. Most forms of massage therapy do not include these areas. The massage therapist should not touch areas that you have explicitly requested that they avoid.
How much should you tip for a $50 massage? The standard tipping rate for a massage is 20%. So, for a $50 massage, you can tip $10. You can increase or lower your tip depending on how satisfied you are with their services.

Online redemption is the most convenient ways to redeem your Reward Points as it can be done without calling up the bank's customer care department. Most banks offer you home delivery for products purchased online against Reward Points. You can also convert these points into air miles and use them to buy air tickets.
How do loyalty points make money?
Some loyalty program operators aim to maximise the profit they make on each point which is sold and redeemed. They may do this by adjusting the price and value of points. Depending on what reward a member redeems their points on, the value they receive for their points can vary.
Loyalty programs, sponsored by retailers and other businesses, offer rewards, discounts, and other special incentives as a way to attract and retain customers. They are designed to encourage repeat business, offering people a reward for store/brand loyalty (hence the name).
You can cancel a monthly gym membership plan with no notice period, penalties or cancellation fees. You simply need to put it in writing. Most gyms have a clause that allows you to cancel a gym membership if they stop offering all the services offered in the contract.
Different fitness centers and health clubs have different policies. But it's likely your gym has at least a 30-day cancellation policy to ensure they get paid if you cancel in the middle of the month. There's a slim chance of getting money back for any days you won't be using the facility.
Cancel the subscriptions by emailing the service providers. If this proves elusive then go through your bank statements going back for 12 months. Look out for regular subscriptions that you forgot or are fraudulent. Cancel them via corresponding websites or by emailing the respective companies.

These are areas of the body where deep, sustained pressure should be avoided because of the structures that lie beneath. Those areas are the anterior and posterior triangles of the neck, suprasternal notch, sternum, axilla, spinal column, umbilical area, inguinal triangle, popliteal fossa, and the antecubital fossa.
Massage should not be done in any area of the body with blood clots, fractures, open or healing wounds, skin infections, weakened bones (such as from osteoporosis or cancer) or where there has been a recent surgery.
Do You Tip a Massage Therapist? Although a tip is never required, if your massage is at a spa or hotel in North America, a 20 percent tip is standard if you were pleased with the service. (The exception is all-inclusive spas that have a no-tip policy.)
It's not necessary to shave prior to getting a massage. Most times the massage therapist will not realize it or mind it at all if they did notice. A spa will not demand you to remove your body hair before your appointment. In reality, whether you decide to shave or keep your body hair is entirely up to you.
Should you talk during a massage?
Is it okay to talk during a massage? Yes it is, as the client you can choose to converse with your therapist whenever you want. If you want to talk, feel chatty or just want to be heard it can be an important part of the letting go process.

Your Hand and Stone gift card will be listed in front of the thousands of buyers perusing our gift card exchange. To sell Hand and Stone gift cards quickly, set the price between 2% and 20% off the original amount.
If you do have old plastic gift cards and want to dispose of them safely, Enck recommends throwing them away in the trash. "Definitely don't put it in your recycling bin, and contact companies and tell them to stop making PVC gift cards as soon as possible."
Under the law, a gift card cannot expire until at least five years from the date it was activated. The law also places general limitations on fees.

How much is 1000 Membership Rewards points worth?
Number of American Express Points | Average Value |
---|---|
1,000 | $6.7 |
11,000 | $73.7 |
21,000 | $140.7 |
31,000 | $207.7 |
50,000 points will cover the cost of unlimited, ad-free music for up to two years. You can also put points towards a Premium Spotify membership and the rest on upgrading your audio experience with a Bose Home Speaker 300.
5,000 Ultimate Rewards points are worth an average of $53.5, according to WalletHub data. You get the best value when redeeming Ultimate Rewards points for travel booked through Chase, though there are a few other redemption options to choose from.
Rewards programs are an effective way to save money while shopping — especially if you tend to frequent the same stores over and over again. While they offer a range of benefits to savvy shoppers, they can sometimes feel like more hassle than they're worth, especially when credit is involved.
Credit card points and miles won't expire as long as your account remains open. However, points and miles earned with airline and hotel loyalty programs do typically expire following a lack of activity.
Points are often worth about 1 cent each, but the value can depend on your card, the card issuer and how you redeem. Redemption options can include travel, cash back, gift cards and merchandise. For example, 10,000 points may be worth $100 when spent on gift cards but only $60 as a statement credit.
Drawbacks of Loyalty
Loyalty can be harmful when your allegiance to the other person becomes consistently detrimental to you. Some people remain in relationships that no longer serve them. In these instances, their sense of loyalty can cause them to become exploited or abused.
However, brand loyalty creates several disadvantages for consumers, including higher cost, inconvenience, minimal variety and brand tribalism.
Ask for a form to apply for a discounted or potentially free membership if your family is lower income. Ask for discounts if paid up front for a year. Many gyms charge your account monthly for the membership fee, but some will charge you for one year up front and give you a great discounted rate in the process.
In short, yes. If you fail to pay your membership fees, your gym can send your account to collections, which is a major negative mark on your credit report. A gym membership is just like any other recurring bill. The method you used to pay the bill does not matter.
Can I leave a 12 month gym contract?
You'll normally have to pay the full cost of your contract if you want to cancel a gym membership early. For example, if you cancel a one-year contract after 6 months, you'll usually have to pay for the remaining 6 months. Check your contract for details to find out how much you'll have to pay if you cancel early.
Budget concerns. Dissatisfaction with gym equipment or offerings. Not seeing results. Health changes or challenges.
According to the IHRSA, 50% of new gym memberships get canceled within six months.
If they agree to let you out of your membership without paying a penalty, ask for a written letter of acknowledgement. If you're thinking this all sounds like too much effort and cancelling your credit card or just taking your payment method off your account is a better solution.
If a company won't stop charging your account after you've tried to cancel a subscription, file a dispute (also called a “chargeback”) with your credit or debit card. Online: Log onto your credit or debit card online account and go through the dispute process.
Check for the cooling-off period
14 days is the minimum cooling-off period that a seller must give you. Make sure you check the terms and conditions in case they've given you more time to change your mind - many choose to do so.

We spoke to two etiquette experts, who suggested leaving a 15% to 20% tip, if you're able. Twenty percent is generous for the massage therapist and easy on the brain, which may be feeling more relaxed than ever after a massage.
In general, the 20% rule applies to tipping your massage therapist. So, if you're wondering how much to tip for a $100 massage, you'd want to tip $20. If you're considering how much to tip for a 60-minute massage (that costs $100) – you'd still tip $20. However, generosity is generally very appreciated.
You normally don't see tipping in a medical setting. If you are fortunate enough to receive massage therapy in a hospital setting, you should not expect to need to provide a tip. Beyond that, most massage therapy settings welcome tipping.
What not to say to your massage therapist?
- Ask your massage therapist to go see a movie / come to your house / etc. ...
- Excessive noises. ...
- Comment on our looks/attractiveness. ...
- Poke your head out of the room to let us know you're ready. ...
- Start undressing while we are still in the room. ...

Generally, one massage a week is recommended, especially if you have a specific health condition or injury. Regular massages can help manage symptoms and promote healing, it can also help with pain relief, improve flexibility and range of motion, and promote overall well-being.
Take a warm shower
First, the warm water will begin allowing your mind and body to relax making it more open to receiving massage. By cleaning your body prior to a massage, you can also mitigate some personal hygiene insecurities, if you have any, plus it is greatly appreciated by your massage therapist.
What should I wear to a massage? It is best to wear comfortable, loose-fitted clothing to your treatment. I tend to wear my gym clothing, as it's easy to slip on and off and is super comfortable.
It is not important to shave before a massage. Your therapist doesn't care or even notice. The only exception to this rule is if you are having Kinesio Taping, then you must do it 24 hours in advance to avoid skin irritation. If less than 24 hours, use clippers only.
“Most massage therapists prefer to be tipped in cash,” says Rose, adding that you can give the cash directly to the therapist at the end of your appointment. “Cash is immediate, so you don't have to wait for your paycheck, and they don't take taxes out.”
Other tipping considerations at a nail salon
Try not to tip less than $5. If you're only getting a nail polish color swap for $20, consider rounding up the tip to $5. If you're using a coupon, discount voucher or gift card, base your tip on the normal price for the service.
They say this is the industry standard but who really set this standard? There is no law in any of the 50 States that say a massage must be 50 minutes. This is something they use to pack more clients into a given day on a schedule. The reason is business efficiency at the expense of the customer.
Masseuses appreciate a 20 percent tip and like it even more if given in cash. Your tip can be left on a credit card or check, but most often good ole' fashion cash is preferred. That's because if you tip on your credit card, most spas will pay that tip out with the therapist's weekly or biweekly paycheck.
While tipping may not be required at some all-inclusive resorts, many guests prefer to do so. In the event that you would like to tip staff during your all-inclusive vacation, it is important to find out in advance whether staff would even be allowed to accept those tips.
Are you supposed to tip a chiropractor?
Don't: Tip your doctor. While tipping a massage therapist is common practice at a spa, you don't need to do that here. Chiropractors are not massage therapists, and don't require a tip.
